Holy mackerel your creation is super fun! I love the contrast in colors as well. Her various shades/ values of yellow equate her intensity with that of the fire falling around her, and contrast against the bleak, desaturated blue behind her. I like the textures on her equipment; subtle metal that does not distract from her pose or expression. Thank you for sharing this with us!

This character is so uniquely dark and grim, a story and atmosphere you've created so well. And only in 30 minutes! The values are spot-on, the composition is great, and the expression is so... Foreboding. I love it! Thank you for sharing this with us. Also, if you were to share these every day, you absolutely would NOT be polluting this website with your work; you'd be sharing something amazing with us, and we could learn a lot from you.

Oh wow, you have made wonderful progress! The atmosphere is grim, and I love the color scheme! The desaturated blue that permeates most of the piece is perfectly offset by the brighter yellow/orange, signaling magical or "otherworldly" elements in the piece. This is something else. The power, the angle upwards, the contrast of blue and red tell an amazing story. I especially like the touch of smoke from the gun. Would love to see more of this character or related ones telling more stories. Thank you for sharing!

Spooky! I love the monochrome approach. Other reviewers have said it already but you're great and conveying a sense of atmosphere with one colored light source. That silhouette is so discernible. Excellent job with this! Thank you for sharing with us.

This looks great! The 3-D effect is there for sure. Your colors are so vivid and lively, and yet they don't clash with one another. I hope you bring this guy back for more, in an environment or telling some story. Thank you for sharing this!

Very cute! Unfortunately I don't have tips for painting water, but it looks like you did great to me! I love the mixture of colors in the water; you didn't just leave it blue and call it a day. It mixes the water into the environment very well. Keep it up, and thank you for sharing!

Thank you! I tried to make it fit into the environment as well as possible, even though some of the blue is still too dark and a wrong shade. When drawing rivers or lakes I almost always get the colours and reflections wrong... Anyway, I'm glad you like it! :)
